COMPETITION EXTENDED TO 1 SEPTEMBER!!!
TAKE 2481 GLOBAL is our first global competition which requires the entrant/entrants to send photos into 2481 showing representation of either 2481 clothing or a large 2481 sticker with the most famous celebrity or on the most famous landmark worldwide. The winner will be selected by our panel of judges. The first prize winner will receive $2000 worth of merchandise and a custom made 2481 surfboard of their choice. Group shots will be accepted. Photoshop entries will NOT be accepted but may be used for promotional purposes! Competition will commence on 1 May 2008 and will run for four (4) months. Entries MUST be received by close of business on Monday 1 September 2008. Winners will be notified by mail or
telephone. Please refer to the full competition rules below for details on how to enter and other important stuff.
COMPETITION RULES Who can enter
Anyone can enter, except for the following:
- employees of 2481
- a direct family member of a person referred to in the first bullet point
(and for this purpose a direct family member is taken to include a
spouse, parent, child or sibling of that person)
Group entries are permitted. In the event of a group entry winning, 2481 takes no responsibility for how the merchandise is divided amongst the group. You may enter the competition as many times as you like ... so go for it!
How to enter You entry must include a photograph of yourself either: - wearing a piece of 2481 clothing; or
- holding a large 2481 sticker
WITH either:
- a famous celebrity; or
- in front of a famous landmark

- hand delivered to the Concept Store, 2/4 Cavanbah Arcade, Jonson Street, Byron Bay
Entries can be submitted in any of the following formats:- digital file (JPEG, GIF, PDF)
- printed file
Images will not be returned and will become the property of 2481. Images may be used by 2481 for marketing and/or promotional purposes. Entries must be received by close of business on Monday 1 September 2008. No exceptions.
How to win
The winner will be decided by a panel of judges. The judges' decision will be final and will not be entered into. Entries will be judged on the following: - location of 2481 merchandise and/or sticker
- originality and creativity
- scale, ie, if you're on top of the Eiffel Tower, that's probably going to beat being at the bottom, but won't necessarily beat running with bulls in Spain!
2481 does not encourage any illegal activity and will not be held responsible for any damage caused to yourself or any property. Having said that, we are keen to see you push the limits!
What you win
The winner will receive $2000 (inc GST) worth of merchandise of their
choice. Merchandise must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of
competition date. Any amount not redeemed within this time will be forfeited. The winner will also receive a custom 2481 surf board of their choice. There will be only one (1) winner.
Runners up will receive a 2481 merchandise pack to the value of $200 (inc GST). There will be only two (2) runners up.
Conditions
Decisions of 2481 with respect to the competition will be final. By participating in this competition you agree to your image/s being displayed on the 2481 website as well as being used for marketing and/or promotional purposes.
